This is a pretty, but ridiculously self-pitying acoustic ballad about a guy wallowing after a breakup. It ends rather abruptly, and I recall when I was playing the guitar for this that Jack Endino (the producer/recording engineer) didn't know the song ended that way, so he thought I screwed up and said, "What happened?" It was the perfect ending line for the song, so if you listen close you hear Jack say that line right after the final lyric.
